NARCOS

Valencian humour is the centre of this campaign for Netflix on the occasion of Narcos season 3 premiere, since it coincided with the beginning of Fallas celebrations in the city. A paella contest, a mascletà in Medellín (the traditional daily firework display), a concept falla and a malparido falla artist.. what can go wrong?
And as voice actor: Korah, no one’s better to transmit Valencia’s acid humour!

CHIMO BAYO/ TUYO

Narcos and Chimo Bayo ignited Fallas with a special cover of the series main title song. An obvious tribute to the excesses of 1990s “Ruta del Bakalao” (what is said to be most popular clubbing movement in Spain, revolving around Valencia), and also a reference to the time where the action takes place in the new season. Netflix’s advertising campaing placed the Valencian public in the spotlight, not only with this video clip but also by organising a big, open air popular gathering with the Valencian DJ and by firing social media with little humorous pills.

Jessica Jones is a real Marvel superhero: haunted by a traumatic past, she uses her super powers to stop the system harm any more people. As any other typical superhero, she celebrated the International Women’s Day with a coup to the system, a real manifesto: “If you touch one of us, you touch all of us”
TV spot for Netflix, season 2. Thanks to the great team that helped us reproduce the fighting spirit of #JessicaJones.

CABANYAL Z

This ten-episode WEB SERIES has been a breeding ground in the neighbourhood where the story takes place: El Cabanyal. The former fishermen’s quarter of Valencia city in Spain has been resisting for more than 15 years; firstly, against a urban plan project that extended a big avenue, split the quarter in two and destroyed 1651 homes; and now against real state speculation, sometimes for tourism purposes. This series portrays a fighting community, a neighbourhood that fits well in the zombie metaphor: neighbours that resist united because of them facing a (not so) common enemy.
Cabanyal Z has been completely self-managed; the cast is composed of neighbours themselves; and we relied on local groups for the soundtrack.
This way of producing fiction has been nominated in both national and international festivals, such as LA WEB FEST (EEUU), Buenos Aires WEB FEST (Argentina) or Marseille WEB FEST (France)
And we’ve also carried off home some prizes…

ENCONTRES

PICUV, (Platform of Valencia’s Urban Cultural Iniciatives) was born in 2015 and set up ENCONTRES (MEETUPS) in association with Valencia’s city council and the local theatre El Musical.
The main objective of ENCONTRES was to create a space for analysing the state of culture and art in the city, as well as facilitating the networking of its different actors: citizens, creators, associations and institutions that manage projects contributing to the development of metropolitan areas.
We produced all media content types for web and social media platforms, including the shooting and edition of the video summarising the three-day conference.

SISTEMA DEL SOLAR PRODUCCIONS is a collective initiative of a group of multifaceted artists from El Cabanyal, one of the main coastal quarters in Valencia (Spain), all gathered together to cooperate in the production of different projects (cinema, theatre, festivals).

At the beginning, the organisation was located in the space Escola del Cabanyal (a self-managed project promoting the culture that was locally produced). El Cabanyal was then a heavily neglected urban area. Cabanyal Z Web Series project was developed there. This experience helped us refine collective production strategies by means of the synergies between artists and technicians from different profiles.

Along with the web series, we committed to other parallel projects, some of them with a more social profile, like the cinema workshops we co-created with teenagers, “The Ark of Natzaret” (a wordplay about two very similar names, the Palestinian town and the Valencian waterfront quarter of Natzaret). With their participation, kids had their first audiovisual experience, “Natzaret Z”. Finally, the adaptation to the stage of some sequences of Cabanyal Z, which was part of the programme of the local theatre festival Cabanyal Íntim, helped us cope with a live audience.

We have specialised in the creation of advertising content in different formats: internet/TV/web (codifying, mastering for television, the preparation of videos exclusively for the web). We are also experienced in scriptwriting (for advertising, television fiction and theatre); we’ve worked in art design and the edition of trailers for different media, and, finally, in the conception and production of events, inclusing dramatised events.
